What did you do to your truck today?

What did you do to your truck today? Change the oil, wash it, finish bagging, curse it out. Lets hear it!

rj2 11-09-2012 04:20 PM

I just raced a mustang in the escalade on the way home from work. It was the mid 2000s cobra. I dunno what was done but it wasnt stock completley. At very least had exaust but sounded cammed too. The escalade walked it every time. We ran three times at three stop lights. It was awesome. The awd helped a lot tho. Haha. Not a slow car at all but not quick enough

Red91 11-12-2012 03:12 PM

Big booo! I am seeing some white in the sky today, so I think I will be driving her too work one last time this year and that will be it! :nono:

Bolt on 11-12-2012 03:19 PM

mines parked in the garage..but the tools are in the bed to deal with some "clearance" issues.lol

Old77 11-12-2012 03:23 PM

I keep putting off laying mine to bed for the winter. I got it out over the weekend before it got cold. It's supposed to warm back up by this next weekend so I'm hoping to get mine out another time or two prior to getting her all washed up, covered up and putting her to sleep :)

What kind of "clearance" issues are we talking about here?

I don't wanna put mine to sleep.... I do have a lot of little things to work out over winter tho so there is a plus!

Old77 11-12-2012 04:21 PM

Yeah, that's the "downside" to the stage I'm at with mine is the project list on her is pretty short right now and to be honest I kind of miss that. Although, I know my wife doesn't because that meant I'd spend all day in the garage while she watched the kids and I'd be dragging in dust, dirt and grime into the house. I'm sure I'll start tearing into it again at some point as there's a LOT of things I'd like to make better and change but it definitely is not happening this winter LOL

Red91 11-12-2012 04:32 PM

Lol. My wife just started second shift so with me on 3rd I will have to morning to work on the truck again! I can't wait to get the "Look" again lol

Bearcat91 11-12-2012 04:57 PM

i hate buying tires.lol i am looking for some new rims though right now.

Bearcat91 12-14-2012 02:02 PM

Nice tire! I have the NT555s on the front and i like em

Old77 12-14-2012 02:23 PM

yeah, I don't like buying tires either. I got the ones I had because they came with the rims last spring and the deal was too good to pass up and I've made them last for long enough. Time for some new rubber and hopefully won't have to think about it for a long time.

Old77 12-18-2012 11:03 PM

Old77 12-22-2012 09:50 PM

I gave the burb a quick bath today :win: the only thing I dislike about winter is keeping the rides clean!

Old77 01-03-2013 01:56 PM

I've already received my dash kit and wiring for steering wheel controls! super fast shipment. Yesterday I also found a nice deal on 2 of 4 headrests so I only need 2 more now. Researching speakers and amps now

Old77 01-08-2013 10:36 AM

Should have everything I order for the video in the Burb by tomorrow or Thursday. I've already received misc wiring kits and dash kit. Today I'm supposed to be getting the head unit. Tomorrow is 2 of 4 head rests and the other 2 are to arrive on Thursday. I'm getting VERY excited at this point!! It's like Christmas :)

:handshake: Thank you, sir. Hope to get it most of the way finished up this weekend with the video. I'm still waiting on some RCA connections that should be here next week but I hope to at least get the monitor in the second row installed and wires ran so that'll get me to about 95% complete. :party33: I'm ready to get this done and move on to the next project :)

Old77 02-08-2013 11:36 PM

Well lookie here!!!! :rocking: I used the hanger idea that a few of you gave me and it worked great! Got the rear monitors in. Now all I have to do is run the wire from the rear montors in the captains up to the front and hook it up! :party33: I'm totally stoked if you can't tell  I'm still waiting for some RCA adapters that are to be here mid next week but I'm going to at least get all the wires to that connection point so it's easy to just hook it up.
