the newer ones when filled with air are suppose to be 2'' bigger than the older model. i was told i couldnt run the 7s cause wouldnt fit even with cutting spring pocket out by the retailer i bought them from. with the 6s i had to cut into the frame to make clearance so i see why they would say that with the 7s. e3mcgrath can u get a pic of the front of the truck with the db7s in the front.

you have to cut the spring pocket for any bag... maybe once he starts driving it again.

2500 u dont need to cut the pocket. ive redone the front of several trucks that had 2500 bags and the spring pocket wasnt touched.

meh, not getting into a long debate but you have to trim out is 3/4" off the lip on the bottom of the frame around the spring pocket for a 2500

Corey Prince 03-11-2013 05:20 AM

i hear ya but i have seen spring pockets not trimmed with 2500 bags but they were the older style not the newer ones
