But I will add I am trying to get my truck to the point of not having to haul it except to maybe camp n drag. With how my bed is setup on the mazda, its impossible to take everything we want in it...

Put a 4x4 posts or something big under the trailer jack to try to get it as high as you can. Depending on how big of a dove tail the trailer has, if it has one at all.
