In HS I used to dream about having a 454SS I'd still love to have one. I'd keep it all stuck with the exception of performance mods to the drivetrain. Out of the box that 454 was a slug but has tons of potential.

true, i still dream about it. id tune it just a fuz, but keep it all origional! truthfully, all engines from the factory are not tuned to there full potential. i believe the only car everoffered fully tuned from the factory was the dart. 1970ish i believe. it even in the window decal, NOT FOR FAMILY USE or somethin to that matter.
