most of you guys probably aren't into minitrucks, however, I wanna get an idea of what my truck is worth in its current condition. Everything that has been done to the truck is there to eliminate or minimize rust.
Info: 201k, 2.5 iron duke motor, 5spd borg-warner t5 trans, new brakes less than 10k ago, new cab mount bushings, most if not all of the general tune and maintenance has been done at regular intervals since I bought the truck, different bed, different cab, blazer fenders(no badges), missing the bumper filler, tires are dry rotted but still have plenty of tread, bed mat and tonneau cover included, bench seat, aftermarket stereo, small speaker box with two 5x8's or 6x9's in it, no head liner. http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...1063b12fde.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...1c5b2e6af1.jpg With all of that being said, what would you pay for the truck? |
In all honesty, $800 as-is or maybe a little less.

around here it is almost impossible to find a drivable car/truck for under a grand so probably right around grand

I've looked at your build thread and you have done a lot with the truck as far as eliminating the rust and stuff. I do commend you for that and it's looking a lot more solid now and MUCH better than before. If you were to ask the worth of it before you worked on it I would have told you $100 so it's greatly improved :waytogo: The topic of the thread, though, is "what would you pay for the truck?". While it's a solid looking truck it still has a long ways to go from what we've seen in the pics (granted these opinions you're asking for would probably differ if the truck was viewed in person). In KC that truck would sell for $700-$800. I would guess it to be the same in Indy  |
ah well thats a damn shame :( put a lot of work into this truck for a 300 dollar rise in value..

Don't get discouraged, man. Once you're done and it's all painted and sitting how you want it THEN evaluate it's "worth". that's when you'll get a true feel for it. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on mine before I got to things that people would actually notice and the "value" of the vehicle would actually rise. It's all a process and you've done well so far :waytogo:
