Standard style shock install other than running a line and for the air. Mostly put the air chuck right next to the lisence plate personally.

I personally wouldn't recommend removing a leaf because it will be really soft out back after that. However there is a bolt that holds the spring pack together, remove the spring, take out said bolt...

I may not have an s10 but I did the drop on my truck (check sig) and that was 2" spindles and 2" springs. Honestly the best way to do is take your time make sure you have all the tools you need. BFH...
