A few years ago I test drove an ECSB (I believe it was a '97 ) 5-speed with a vortec 305. It drove pretty solid. Had OK pep when getting up to hwy speeds and drove real good. The only reason I can think of why I didn't buy is because the wife can't drive a stick and refuses to learn how
